Trato Marzo in Rovereto: awakening of tradition and spring

The Trato Marzo, a centuries-old ritual celebrating the end of Carnival and the beginning of spring, comes back to life in Rovereto. The event will be held on Saturday, March 15th at the Ristoro Magna e Bevi, in Pian delle Fugazze (Vallarsa).

The evening will begin at 6:00 PM with a performance by the Krampus Cimbri of Vallarsa and the mask group from Castelnuovo del Volturno, accompanied by their percussions. Afterwards, the young people of the Leno Valleys will celebrate the new couples of the valley with the traditional “call of March”.

During the event, you can enjoy typical dishes prepared by the Azienda Agricola Maso Covel and the Magna e Bevi inn, accompanied by wine tasting by the Leno Clandestino Association. The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Vallarsa. Learn more about Rovereto.
