Trentino in a Jar: A Jam-Making Workshop at Malga Riondera

Nestled in the verdant Lessini Mountains, Agriturismo Malga Riondera offered a unique experience: a workshop to create and take home the authentic flavours of Trentino. This small, family-run farm, with a keen focus on environmental sustainability, opened its doors for an unforgettable experience.

Participants spent two nights in a renovated malga (alpine farm), characterised by antique wooden interiors and stonework. As true helpers to Andrea and Alice, they had the opportunity to experience farm life up close, picking tomatoes from the garden and learning to create a delicious spiced jam.

The programme included dinners featuring local flavours, homemade breakfasts, and educational activities in the company of the farm animals. It was an opportunity to escape the stress of the city and rediscover a connection with nature, taking home a jar of Trentino and the recipe to recreate it at home. An experience that combined the pleasure of taste with the discovery of local traditions, in an inviting and evocative setting near Rovereto.
