A truly unprecedented event is set to envelop Trento in an atmosphere of pure wonder. For the first time in its history, the city prepares to host the Balloon Fest, an occasion promising to transform the sky into a vibrant canvas of colours and dreams.

On June 6th and 7th, 2026, the Le Albere district and the MUSE – Science Museum will become the beating heart of this celebration of flight. Imagine yourself suspended between sky and earth, with the chance to admire Trento from an entirely new perspective, thanks to the tethered flights offered on Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is an accessible experience for all, perfect for families and the curious, where the thrill of takeoff merges with the beauty of the landscape below. Tickets for flights will be available directly on-site (Adults: 10.00€ | Children: 5.00€).

The highlight of the event will be the Balloon Glow, scheduled for Saturday evening around 9:00 PM. As the sun sets, the hot air balloons will illuminate in rhythm with music, creating a dazzling light show that will paint the night sky with unforgettable hues. A moment of pure visual poetry, designed to enchant and marvel.

This initiative stems from an excellent collaboration between Kilometro Azzurro, the MUSE, Visit Trento, and the Municipality of Trento, uniting science, territorial promotion, and the eternal allure of flight. To enhance the experience, a selected food truck area will offer delicious treats for a pleasant break, making every moment at the Balloon Fest a cherished memory. Please note that activities are strictly subject to weather conditions, ensuring maximum safety.
