Verona hosts the new edition of the “Tu Donna” festival, a series of theatrical performances directed by Andrea Castelletti that focuses on the female figure. Through eight plays, the project offers reflections on fundamental themes such as the condition of women, social stereotypes, and gender-based violence.
The events, hosted at Modus SpazioCultura and Teatro Camploy, explore stories of remarkable women and contemporary issues. The programme opens on October 23rd with “Elena di Sparta”, followed in December by “Anna. La Magnani” and “Un bravo ragazzo”, an analysis of femicide from the perspective of the perpetrator’s mother. The schedule continues in 2027 with “La gonna che visse due volte” in January, “Hannah Arendt. Il futuro alle spalle” in February, and “Sottobanco. Sei solo un altro mattone nel muro” in March.
