A Dialogue Between Masterpieces in Brescia

Immerse yourself in art and history in the heart of Brixia. Parco Archeologico di Brescia Romana, a UNESCO site, with the installation ‘Victoria Mater. The Idol and the Icon’. Until April 2026, the Capitolium hosts an unprecedented encounter between the Winged Victory, symbol of the city, and the Idolino of Pesaro, on loan from the National Archaeological Museum of Florence.

Artist Francesco Vezzoli creates a suggestive setting that enhances the symbolic charge and evocative value of these two bronze statues, in a dialogue between past and present, archeology and modernity. An immersive experience in the heart of a sacred temple, between impossible shadows and artistic suggestions.
