100 Times Tartarotti: A Century of Culture in Rovereto

The “G. Tartarotti” Civic Library in Rovereto is preparing to celebrate a century of history and culture. From October 2025, a rich program of events will commemorate the 100th anniversary of its dedication to Girolamo Tartarotti, a prominent figure in local culture.

The celebrations will kick off on October 24th with the presentation of the book dedicated to the centenary and the inauguration of the exhibition “Tartarotti’s Legacy: a library for public use.” On October 25th, the notes of classical music will resonate among the shelves with a concert featuring Tiziana Angheben on piano and Francesco Ciech on cello.

For those wishing to deepen their knowledge of Tartarotti, urban trekking tours are planned on October 25th and 26th, an opportunity to retrace the footsteps of the Roveretan scholar with a final theatrical surprise. The exhibition, open from October 25th to November 21st, will offer an in-depth look at Tartarotti’s life and work, revealing the indissoluble link with the library. A unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the history and culture of Rovereto.
