Beethoven Symphonies in Rovereto: An Exciting Cycle

The Rosmini Theatre in Rovereto is preparing to host a musical event of rare beauty: a cycle dedicated to Beethoven’s symphonies, in preparation for the 200th anniversary of his death. The Alpen Symphonie Orchester will perform a three-year program (2025-2027) that will pair Beethoven’s symphonies with other orchestral masterpieces.

The 2025 appointments include: Saturday, March 29, conducted by Margherita Colombo and introduced by musicologist Benedetta Saglietti, Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 “Jupiter” and Beethoven’s First Symphony will be performed. On Saturday, June 7, Maestro Sergio Gasparella will conduct the orchestra with soloist violinist Giada Broz, presenting the Romances for Violin and Orchestra No. 1 and No. 2, and Beethoven’s Fourth Symphony. Finally, on Saturday, November 22, it will be the turn of Beethoven’s Seventh Symphony, with a program still to be defined.
