The literary and artistic spirit of Sirmione is highlighted by a special event dedicated to young minds. In conjunction with the ÒRA | ORA exhibition, the Municipal Library presents the creative workshop Carte nel Tempo, Carte nel Vento, a journey inspired by the works of Italo Calvino and his renowned The Castle of Crossed Destinies.

This workshop invites children aged 9 to 12 to explore the narrative power of imagery. Through the use of cards, young participants will learn to weave plots and visual tales, turning play into a sophisticated form of literary expression. The program consists of two sessions held on the Saturdays of October 10 and 17, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
