Children’s Carnival enchants Rovereto

From February 7th to 15th, 2026, the city of Rovereto will transform into a realm of joy and colors with the 71st edition of the Children’s Carnival. A rich program of events, parades, and games will animate the streets and squares, offering an unforgettable experience for young and old.

The official start will be on Saturday, February 7th, with the establishment of the Mini-Council, composed of students from the “Damiano Chiesa” elementary school in Noriglio, accompanied by the Youth Band Musica Cittadina “Riccardo Zandonai” Rovereto Junior Band. The day will continue with “The window of stories” at the Civic Library, animated readings for the little ones.

On Sunday, February 8th, the Rosmini Theater will host “All’inCirco variety” by the Lannutti & Corbo Company, while the Zandonai Theater will vibrate with the concert “Carnival without borders” by the Jitřenka Group, with the participation of the Notemagia Choir and the Monte Zugna Choir.

Monday, February 9th, the Zandonai Theater will host the Carnival Concert with the United Youth Bands of the Vallagarina Community. Thursday, February 12th, the Santa Maria Theater will host “Pinocchio & Safari: the puppet in the jungle”, a concert by the Rovereto Wind Orchestra.

Friday, February 13th, the Rosmini Oratory will be the scene of the traditional Sgnocolada della Quercia, with music and a dance show. Saturday, February 14th, the Zandonai Theater will present “Musicanti… the great journey” by the Lupus in fabula Company.

The culmination of the festival will be on Sunday, February 15th, with the grand parade of Masks, accompanied by the “Don G. Pederzini” Band of Lizzana with Majorettes and the Little Great Violinists. The day will end with the awarding of the masks and a snack bag for everyone.
