Sipario d’Oro: The National Amateur Theatre Festival in Rovereto

The city of Rovereto is preparing to host the 45th edition of the “Sipario d’Oro” National Amateur Theatre Festival. A must-see event for theatre lovers, it will be held in the theatres of Vallagarina. From February 13th to March 27th, 2026, the festival will offer a rich programme of shows, with the National Competition at the Teatro Zandonai and Teatro di Lizzana from February 27th. The heart of the event is the National Competition, which will see eight of the best Italian amateur prose companies compete, selected from over 100 applications from all over Italy. A jury of experts and a jury of young students will evaluate the performances, rewarding artistic quality and creativity. The Circuit will animate the Vallagarina theatres with thirty-five shows, offering the public a journey full of emotions and food for thought. The secretariat in Corso Bettini, 64 in Rovereto is open from February 2nd to March 27th (excluding Sundays) from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm for bookings and information.
