Divine Whims – Giovanni Tommasi Ferroni in Rovereto

Palazzo Libera in Villa Lagarina hosts, from September 20, 2025, to July 6, 2026, an unmissable exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Tommasi Ferroni. The works of this extraordinary figurative painter, heir to a family of artists, blend classical architectures, fantastic characters, and modern scenarios in magnetic and surprising compositions.

Ferroni reinterprets the great tradition of the 17th century with a current and ironic look, creating a dialogue between past centuries and possible futures. Rome, the eternal city, is the great protagonist of his works, where the ruins of antiquity meet the Baroque and unexpected futuristic scenarios.

The exhibition path on the lower floor of Palazzo Libera celebrates the vitality of figurative painting, giving life to a noble and dreamlike landscape that responds to the uncertainties of our time with lightness and invention. Promoted by the Municipality of Villa Lagarina in collaboration with the Mart of Rovereto, the exhibition is produced by il Cigno GG Edizioni.
