Monteforte d’Alpone Wine Festival: A Toast to the Heart of Soave

In May 2026, the charming village of Monteforte d’Alpone, nestled in the province of Verona, prepares to host its renowned Wine Festival. From May 22nd to 24th, this annual event elegantly and authentically celebrates Soave, a white wine that embodies the history and passion of these lands. It will be three days dedicated to discovering its diverse expressions, from the Soave DOC of the plains to the more refined Soave Classico DOC, born from the historic hills, without forgetting the Soave Superiore DOCG and the sweet Recioto di Soave DOCG, a true gem made from dried grapes.

The experience offered extends beyond simple tasting. Visitors will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in local culture through a rich program. One can admire the “L’Arte in primo piano” art exhibition at Palazzo Vescovile, participate in guided tastings with O.N.A.V., and uncover the secrets of the historic cellars in the town centre. For families, there will be fun activities with pedal go-karts, while nature lovers can explore the “10 capitelli circular route”.

The festival will be enlivened by theatrical performances, live music and DJ sets, and surprising aerial discipline shows. The Pro Loco’s food and wine stands will offer a typical menu with local specialties, including various risottos and mixed grills. A Versilia market will add a vibrant touch to the historic centre. The Wine Festival is an invitation to experience Monteforte d’Alpone in all its facets, savouring the quality of its products and the richness of its traditions.
