Palio Città della Quercia: International Athletics in Rovereto

The Palio Città della Quercia, with over half a century of history, is the oldest track and field meeting in Italy. On June 2, 2025, Rovereto will transform into the beating heart of international athletics, also thanks to the live television coverage on Rai Sport.

Born from the Italian CSI Championships, the Palio has grown in quality and fame, entering the international calendar in the seventies and establishing itself in the European Federation circuit in 1991. This event has become a sporting heritage for Rovereto and the entire Trentino region, fueled by the passion and commitment of volunteers.

Over the years, the Palio has seen legends of athletics such as Sebastian Coe, Jonathan Edwards, and Pietro Mennea. On June 2, 2025, at the Quercia Stadium, the tradition of great challenges and emotions will be renewed. The competitions will start at 5:30 PM, with possible changes to the schedule due to organizational or television needs. The final program will be published in the days leading up to the event.

Tickets can be purchased online and at the stadium ticket office on the day of the event. An unmissable opportunity to experience the emotion of international athletics up close.
