Forte Gisella will become the stage for “The Adventures of Pippi Longstocking,” a performance promising to captivate both young and old with its vibrant energy and boundless imagination.
This theatrical presentation, part of “La città dei ragazzi 2026” (The Children’s City 2026) festival, brings to life the story of Pippi, an extraordinary girl residing at Villa Villekulla. Accompanied by her faithful Mr. Nilsson, a monkey with a curious name, and her horse, who finds a comfortable spot on the veranda, Pippi draws her neighbours, Annika and Tommy, into a whirlwind of adventures. The lively and colourful set design is crafted to immerse the audience in her unique world, where conventionality is merely a relative concept and the freedom to be oneself truly flourishes.
