Ponale Path: A Classic with Breathtaking Views
The Ponale Path, a historic route that has enchanted travelers for over a century, offers an unforgettable hiking experience with spectacular views of the Upper Garda and the surrounding mountains. This itinerary is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in nature and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views.
- Panoramas: Dominates the lower Sarca, Monte Brione, Upper Garda and Monte Baldo.
- Flora: Mediterranean vegetation with cypresses and holm oaks growing among the overhanging rocks.
- History: Once the only link between the Ledro Valley and Riva del Garda, built by Giacomo Cis in the 19th century.

The path, reopened in 2004 after being converted from a road, offers a unique experience among tunnels carved into the rock and hairpin bends overlooking the lake.
