Puzzle and Rows: Celebrating Female Art in Rovereto

Palazzo De Probizer in Rovereto hosts “Puzzle and Rows”, an exhibition dedicated to Virginia Bensi, celebrating female art. The exhibition, open from April 26th to June 1st, 2025, features Jelena Borovčanin, Benedetta Cocco, Anna Lorenzetti, and Chiara Taddeucci Sassolini, artists who explore multimedia with a strong connection to craftsmanship.

Curated by Saverio Simi de Burgis, “Puzzle and Rows” highlights the exponential growth of female artists in the art scene, while valuing “manual making” alongside traditional techniques such as painting and sculpture. The exhibition celebrates manual skill as a universal and timeless language.

In addition to celebrating art, the exhibition pays tribute to Virginia Bensi, who passed away prematurely due to “Lafora disease.”
