Sommacampagna Comes Alive: A Summer of Flavours and Melodies

The start of summer in Sommacampagna promises a vibrant experience with the inaugural Street Food event in Piazza della Repubblica. From June 12 to 14, the heart of the town transforms into a welcoming village of taste, an opportunity to explore a mosaic of flavours and enjoy entertainment for all ages. This initiative, strongly supported by the Municipal Administration, invites everyone to three evenings of conviviality.

Visitors can embark on a culinary journey among the numerous gourmet food trucks. From artisanal burgers to Mexican cuisine, fried lake and sea fish to authentic American BBQ, Abruzzese arrosticini, and handcrafted club sandwiches, not forgetting sweet bomboloni. To complement these delights, a selection of refreshing beers and summer cocktails will be available, best enjoyed responsibly.

For families, a dedicated area with inflatables will be active throughout the event. On Sunday, a special treat awaits the little ones with animation and a captivating bubble show.

Each evening, the piazza will resonate with live music. Friday will celebrate the hits of Vasco Rossi with the tribute band “Vasco Dentro”. Saturday takes a leap back to the 90s with “Circomax” (a tribute to Max Pezzali & 883) and a subsequent DJ set. On Sunday, the energetic rhythm of blues will close the event with “Sangue Blues” (a tribute to the Blues Brothers).

Entry is free, and opening hours extend from late afternoon until midnight, with Sunday also open for lunch. A delightful occasion to experience Sommacampagna in a festive and relaxed atmosphere.
