Srebrenica: Memory, History and Reflection in Gonzaga

Srebrenica 1995: Memory of a Genocide

A touching event to remember. Gonzaga hosts a profound reflection on the war in Bosnia Herzegovina (1992-1995) and the Srebrenica genocide, a still open wound in European history. An opportunity to remember, understand and honor the memory of the victims.

Presentation of the essay “Mass rape as a weapon of war” by Cecilia Frignani, a raw and necessary analysis.

The event is part of the cycle “Wounds of Europe: the war in Bosnia” and the review “terre_basse”, promoted by the Municipality of Gonzaga and the Philatelic Numismatic and Hobby Club, an educational path that intertwines history, science, art and current events.
