From May 28 to June 2, 2026, the Borgo Nuovo district in Verona prepares to host one of the most cherished and anticipated events of the year: the traditional Sagra di Borgo Nuovo. For six days, the streets and squares transform into a lively open-air stage, a meeting place where people of all ages can share moments of genuine joy. This festival is an ode to community, an opportunity to rediscover the pleasure of coming together. Gastronomic stands will delight the palate with local flavors, while the bar and the “Stappa la Fortuna” game will add a touch of lightheartedness to the evenings. For families, the dedicated Family Area on Via Agrigento, with its “PUB ROCK” and charity fishing, will offer games and entertainment for the little ones, including face painting to spark their imagination. Live music will take center stage every evening, with artists such as Susanna Pepe, Timothy, I Viandanti, and Xcorsi animating Piazza A. Dall’Oca Bianca. There will also be dance evenings, from country with WEST & FRIENDS to Latin American rhythms with Diego Massloco and the Benny e Fabio DANCE SCHOOL, inviting everyone to join in. A moment of reflection and tradition will be the Solemn Holy Mass in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary, followed by a communal lunch for families. Art finds its place with the “DETTAGLI” photography exhibition by the Planar 1:2,8 group, an opportunity to explore new perspectives. The Sagra will conclude with the exciting drawing of the lottery winning numbers, a festive farewell to days rich in emotion and shared experiences. An event that celebrates the vitality of Verona and its people.
