This 18.2 km route will take you from Rifugio Pernici to Bivacco Campel, following the Sentiero della Pace (Path of Peace), a historical route that traces the front line of the Great War. Admire breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, with the Adamello group peeking out in the distance.
Along the way, you can observe alpine meadows, shrubs, scree and rocky walls rich in fossils, testimony to the ancient marine past of the Ledro Valley. The path climbs towards Mazza di Pichea and Monte Tofino, and then descends towards Bochet de Slavazì. It then continues towards Bocca dell’Ussol and Monte Cadria, before descending to Malga Cadria and Pozza, until reaching Bivacco Campel.
