Lake Garda is home to secret places that few people know about, perfect for unique and unusual photos.
Whether it’s for a wedding, an event or a romantic getaway with exclusive souvenir photos, these special corners will give your shots an inimitable charm. Let’s discover them together!

1 – The oolite quarries of Bosco Caproni

Near Arco (TN) there is a nature trail called Bosco Caproni, where you can explore some abandoned quarries from which oolite was extracted. A truly evocative and unique place.
If you want to capture the play of light between the rocks, we recommend going early in the morning.

2 – The secret waterfall on the Ponale Trail

The spectacular Ponale Trail hides a couple of little-known waterfalls. We recommend a spectacular waterfall that can be reached on foot, although you will have to cling to a rope for part of the way to get there. In the dim light, you will find the ideal spot for unforgettable photos.

3 – The Marocche di Dro

A lunar landscape created by ancient glacial landslides. Perfect for original photos with a unique and surreal atmosphere. We are at the Marocche di Dro in the ancient Valle dei Laghi, between Riva del Garda and Trento.

4 – The Valley of the Sphinxes in Lessinia

The Valley of the Sphinxes in Lessinia is characterised by a series of monoliths created by erosion, which take on the appearance of “rock mushrooms” reminiscent of Egyptian sphinxes.
An incredible place, beautiful in all seasons, where you can have fun finding the perfect spot.

5 – Belvedere di Cologna in Tenno

Climbing up State Road 421, which leads from Riva del Garda to Tenno, next to the cemetery you will find this footbridge suspended in mid-air with a breathtaking view over the entire Busa valley. You will find magical light in the morning!

6 – Heller Garden

The Heller Garden is located in Gardone Riviera and is a splendid 10,000 square metre garden containing botanical species from all over the world, artistic installations and ponds with water features that would make any impressionist painter fall in love.
Here, every colourful glimpse will be an opportunity for the perfect portrait.

6 – The balcony square of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron

We are in the village of San Giorgio Ingannapoltron, in the heart of Valpolicella. From here, the view stretches from the lush vineyards on the hills to Lake Garda. A feast for the eyes!

8 – The road with a view of Arco Castle

To reach this winding road, take the road that climbs from the village of Arco towards Laghel. On the right, you will find a convenient dirt car park, from where you can begin the short climb along the Via Crucis towards the picturesque Arco Castle, perched on a rocky spur.

9 – Among the medieval houses of the village of Campo di Brenzone

The ancient village of Campo di Brenzone is the perfect setting for original and timeless photos. You will immerse yourself in a small, almost uninhabited world, but one that is full of history and life.

10 – Jamaica Beach in Sirmione

Large smooth pink and light grey stones emerge during the winter months when the water level is lower, creating pools that act as mirrors, reflecting portions of the sky onto the lake. During the low season, Jamaica Beach in Sirmione transforms into an incredible photo opportunity, far from the crowds.

Whether you are budding photographers or simply lovers looking for the perfect shot, these secret corners of Lake Garda are ready to give you the thrill of discovery and shared creativity. A unique experience to create beautiful memories of happy moments.
So grab your backpack, camera in hand and heart open to magic!

According to the art of onomancy, the meaning of my name is described as follows: "it lives in the woods, sylvan and wild". Sometimes fate knows the way before you, and forges you with the most akin experiences. I live on the balcony of Lake Garda in San Zeno di Montagna. Passionate about trekking, photography and writing, which I combine in small adventures. If you are looking for me, you will find me in the forest overlooking the lake... with my Roberto and Gea.
