Each year, the charming village of Affi transforms into a vibrant stage for its Medieval Festival, an event celebrating its XXVI edition from June 13 to 14, 2026. It is an invitation to immerse oneself in a bygone era, where history is not merely told but lived, breathed in every corner of the historic center.
The village streets will be alive with valiant knights and skilled archers, guardians of an atmosphere from another time. Wandering musicians will fill the air with ancient melodies, while flag-wavers and jesters will enchant audiences with spectacular performances in the squares and processions. The experience is enriched by encountering tireless artisans at work in their workshops: the carpenter, the weaver, the basket maker, the potter, the leather worker, the patient scribe, the goldsmith, the wise apothecary, the marble worker, the baker, the paper maker, and merchants of salt and relics. Sunday also offers a guided walk through the ancient center, to discover the history and curiosities of the village.
