The traveling exhibition ‘Extraordinary Microorganisms’ invites visitors to explore the complexity of microscopic life forms that govern our planet’s delicate balance.

Through a curated selection of images from Europe’s leading research centers, the exhibition reveals the beauty and biodiversity of bacteria, viruses, yeasts, and fungi. These silent protagonists, found in soil, water, and even the human body, prove to be crucial elements in understanding contemporary challenges, from sustainability to the circular bioeconomy.

The project, a collaboration between the University of Turin, the European Culture Collections’ Organization, and the Department of Biotechnology at the University of Verona, transforms scientific knowledge into an accessible visual experience. The exhibition is open from July 9th to November 1st, with guided tours available upon reservation, included in the museum admission ticket.
