From May 16-17 and May 22-24, 2026, Colognola ai Colli comes alive, transforming into a vibrant hub of taste and tradition. The food and wine stands invite visitors to discover a rich menu where peas are the undisputed stars. Guests can savour local culinary delights such as “lasagne coi bisi” and the classic “riso e bisi,” prepared according to authentic recipes. These delicacies are thoughtfully paired with a selection of the finest local wines, including Soave DOC and Valpolicella DOC labels, reflecting the rich winemaking heritage of this area near Verona.

Beyond a mere gastronomic event, the Sagra dei Bisi offers a comprehensive experience designed to engage every visitor. The programme includes scenic hill walks that combine the pleasure of good food with the discovery of historical and cultural heritage, evenings filled with music and dancing, dedicated children’s entertainment, and artisanal markets. A special highlight is the “Camminata in autonomia,” a self-guided walk culminating in a wine tasting at a local winery, offering a genuine taste of Veronese hospitality.
