Wild Images: The ‘Wild’ Photography Exhibition in Rovereto

The Museum of Science and Archaeology in Rovereto hosted the photography exhibition “Wild”, a selection of top-tier European nature shots. Curated by the Fondazione Museo Civico di Rovereto, the exhibition showcased the award-winning works from the European Wildlife Photographer of the Year, a competition that has celebrated nature photography for fifty years.

European nature photographers interpreted biodiversity through images that tell the story of the relationship between humans and nature, celebrating the wonders of the natural world. The exhibition aimed to raise public awareness about environmental protection, with thematic insights and texts accompanying the images.

A special section was dedicated to nature photographers from Trentino, with shots capturing the local territory. On Sunday afternoons, museum experts guided visitors through the exhibition, while the Circolo Fotoamatori L’Immagine di Rovereto curated some special visits.

With the entrance ticket to the Museum of Science and Archaeology, visitors could also visit the Planetarium and the City Museum.
