Bardolino hosts the 14th edition of the International Geography Festival, taking place from October 9th to October 11th, 2026, at the Cinema Teatro Corallo. This event serves as a significant platform for discussion, bringing together students, journalists, teachers, authorities, and experts to explore current affairs through the perspective of geographical knowledge.
The main theme of this edition, “Water and the prosperity of peoples,” encourages a deep reflection on the role of water resources in the development of civilizations, from the ancient stilt houses of the Neolithic period to the great cities built on water. The program also delves into “The journey of food: freshwater fish,” analyzing how water acts as both a vital resource and a defining element for the economy and culture of various regions.
